Aha, that’s what you’ve all been waiting for in this game – a Japanese manufacturer. Last week’s Hemmings Six Degrees of Automotive Separation Challenge used Nissan as one of the end points, so this week, let’s go to the biggest of them all, Toyota. And to make the challenge sufficiently interesting, let’s place Studebaker at the other end.
Remember, while the guidelines say six degrees or less, you get magical mystery points for listing more obscure connections.Y’all did a great job last week finding obscure Nissan connections, so don your wikipedia miner’s helmets and get to it with Studebaker and Toyota.
The rules, as always, are simple: A connection consists of one company owning another, merging with another or sharing another’s parts. Explain your connections, and if you need examples, check out our previous Hemmings Six Degrees of Automotive Separation Challenges.
